ISOLATING SWITCH

outdoor AC high-voltage disconnector is applicable to the device on the line of outdoor high-voltage distribution equipment, which is used to cut off the line and convert the line when there is voltage and no load.

This product is a three-phase electrical appliance composed of three separate single pole disconnectors. Each single pole disconnector has the same components, such as base, post insulator, front and rear static contacts, knife switch and arc angle, etc.

This series of disconnectors meet the requirements specified in gb1989-89 AC high voltage disconnectors, iec1129 (1984), AC disconnector grounding switches and iec694 (1980) common terms for high voltage switchgear and control equipment. This series of products have good seismic resistance and meet the requirements of 9 degrees of earthquake (horizontal acceleration 4.9m/s2 and vertical acceleration 2.45m/s2).

>> Operational principle

The main feature of the isolation switch is that it has no arc extinguishing ability, and can only divide and close the circuit without load current. The isolating switch is used for all levels of voltage, used to change the circuit connection or isolate the line or equipment from the power supply. Usually with an interlock to prevent misoperation when the switch is under load, sometimes a pin is required to prevent the switch from being disconnected under the action of a large faulty magnetic force.

1. During the overhaul of electrical equipment, provide an electrical interval and a clearly visible disconnection point to ensure the personal safety of maintenance personnel.
2. The isolating switch cannot be operated with load: it cannot operate with rated load or large load, and cannot divide and combine load current and short-circuit current, but those with arc extinguishing chamber can operate with small load and no-load line.
3. In general power transmission operation: first close the isolating switch, then close the circuit breaker or load switch;
When the power is cut off: first disconnect the circuit breaker or load switch, and then disconnect the isolating switch.
